Johnson Poole & Bloomer offers the qualified and experienced services of its
staff to manage Health and Safety requirements, including those of the
Construction Design and Management (CDM) Regulations 2007.

| OUR HEALTH & SAFETY MANAGEMENT SERVICES INCLUDE:

- CDM Co-ordinator - Liaison between all parties. Ensuring the Construction Phase Health &
Safety Plan is prepared to a high standard; delivery of the
completed Health & Safety File to the client upon completion.
- Risk Assessments - Assessment of risk associated with site, factory and
office based activities, including Manual Handling, Display Screen Equipment (DSE)
and Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH). Review of contractor risk
assessments on behalf of the Client.
- Fire Risk Assessments - Assessment of fire risk and provision of detailed report of findings and recommendations.
- Hazardous Materials Surveys - Determination of the presence of
hazardous materials; issue of a comprehensive report,
including recommendations for their removal and disposal.
- Health & Safety Policy and Policy Statement - Bespoke
health and safety documentation for small and medium sized organisations.
Review of Health and Safety documentation for compliance purposes.
- Legionnaire's Disease - Risk assessments, micro-biological sampling, management, advice and awareness training.
Through our joint initiative with EMSAS, specialist consultants in Occupational Hygiene, we can now offer these additional services:
- Hand/arm vibration assessments - Measurement of tool vibration and magnitude, assessment of exposure and provision of practical solutions.
Occupational Hygiene Monitoring - Monitoring of atmospheric levels of substances and calculation of personal exposure.
- Workplace Noise Assessments - Workplace noise plans, assessment of hearing protection, personal dosimetry and advice.
- Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) Testing - Examination, testing and assessment of LEV systems in accordance with COSHH; advice and control measures.
